Match Report

Hillingdon Borough FC travelling away at Ampthill FC in our 4th league game. After a very good game against Broxbourne Borough FC on Tuesday as we mentioned already we qualified in to the next round of Challenge League Trophy and looking forward to win our first game in the league. The game starts very poor for Hillingdon as very early in the game a very good ball behind our defence Ampthill FC opens up the score 1-0 after 8 minutes. The boys found themselves again behind very early in the game and they have to work even harder to score ASAP to get back in to the game but Ampthill FC defending very well and closing all the gaps. The home team keep attacking very composed on the wings a very poor crossing which shouldn’t be a problem for the keeper turns in to a second goal for Ampthill FC 2-0 after 25 minutes. Hillingdon trying to attack more and counting to much on only 1 player which is Simeon our number 10 recently in very good form but the home team marking him very well and not much happening till the half time. Second half starts again very poor for our boys in a very hot weather the home team looks very fresh and keeping they’re attacking football style on the wings which turns out that we can’t cope with that. Hillingdon had couple of chances but they couldn’t finish and our defence giving them so much space another crossed ball makes it 3-0 up for Ampthill FC after 65 minutes. Hillingdon making 2 subs James coming of injured Luke taking his place also Rinidie taking Ash place which turns in the to a very good sub. Rinidie just came in very motivated and with so much energy Simeon giving a very good assist to Rinidie behind the the home team defence very good finish 3-1 after 75 minutes Hillingdon working they’re way back. Another sub for Hillingdon Mati taking Kyle’s place. Ampthill FC not happy at all that they conceded one goal and they showing very good power again and making 4-1 up in the 85 minute. 90 plus minute last attack for the home team turns out to be the cherry on the cake 5-1 up for Ampthill FC. Horrible day for Hillingdon Borough FC but no time to look behind as our next game it’s the most important game this season we are hosting Kensington and Ealing Borough FC in FA Vase first qualifying round.
