In our 3rd league game Hillingdon Borough hosted Shefford Town FC at the Middlesex Stadium.
After we lost 2 points away at Park View FC but a positive first point and performance we are looking forward to our home game against Shefford Town FC to finally take our first 3 points this season.
Game starts very good for the away team as they have the full control on possession and creating huge 3 clear chances but luckily stays 0-0.
As the game goes on our team still defending very deep and giving so much space to the away team to do whatever they want also comes the opener for Shefford Town FC in the 25th minute great finish 1-0 up for the visitors.
This first goal gives finally a good cold shower to our boys and starting to put the work in as our wingers crossing 2 very good balls in the box but missing clear chances stays 1-0 for visitors.
40th minute long ball from our centre back Lee Peach to Ash our striker who finds himself 1v1 with the goalie and makes it 1-1.
Second half starts with very good energy both sides attacking and trying to get an early goal but nothing happens until to the 60th minute when the visitors making it 2-1 up.
Boro making 2 subs giving fresh legs on the wing and trying to attack and missing great chances but stays 2-1 for visitors.
75th minute our defence gifting a ball down the middle the score goes up to 3-1 for visitors.
Another sub for Boro coming very late as after so many mistakes we are beating ourselves and the visitors keep the control of the game making it 4-1 up after a cross from the left side tap in for visitors the game is finished another home game lost for Borough.
Taking positives after this game we have to work on our defending and attacking as we beat ourselves again.
We have no time to think about today as Tuesday 20th August traveling away to Broxbourne in our cup game and hopefully come back with a good win and qualifying in the next round.
